My name is Matthew Creel. I'm someone who has been fighting his own feelings and thoughts for years not knowing what they were or what I could do about them. What the hell is?

Not dealing with previous problem or challenges in my life regardless of how big or small slowly compounded over years to make me my lowest about 5 years ago.

Not knowing what these feelings were I thought they would pass. Unfortunately, they didn't. If anything they got worse.

Starting with lack of energy and change in mood I slowly progressed into not wanting to do anything.

I didn't want to get out of bed in the morning and completely lacked motivation.

Enough was enough! I decided that to make change in my life I needed to overcome fear, take action and make myself accountable for the way I was feeling.

This was a massive turning point for me. I took control of my thoughts and feelings through a number of different ways.

Through regular exercise, diet, daily diaries, journaling and educating myself as much as possible through reading and listen to audio books my mindset started to change, I started to take back control.

By being comfortable, discomfort will come anyway. Sounds strange doesn’t it? But it’s true!

I realised that change requires action so I set out some basic goals to help build the foundations of personal growth.

I realised that change requires action so I set out some basic goals to help build the foundations of personal growth.

I came across the Wim Hof Method and his mantra, “cold is your warm friend”. I found huge mental and physical benefits in exposing myself to the cold, starting with cold showers, then ice baths and natural cold waters.

Coupled with focused breathing, the cold water exposure has allowed me to relax my body and mind, helping to put me in a peaceful place.

Focused breathing allows me to be present and embrace the challenges ahead by not letting the fear of the unknown and negative thoughts enter my mind.

I am now thriving. I have the tools, knowledge and capabilities to be able to understand myself, understand how I feel and have the ability to face challenges and problems head on.

Through my work with mental health charity Tidy Butt, I soon found that people were fighting the same feelings as me.

This is when I developed The Experience - a one-to-one personalised experience, using the methods I have learned to change my life.

The Experience

Using controlled breathing techniques and cold water immersion, the 60 minute session will leave you feeling focused, calm, energised and armed with the tools and confidence to build mental resilience.
